The first winner of Country Market’s X-citing Times competition, Jillian Croucher from Kingsley, was presented with a whopping £500 on Thursday 25^th July

The X-citing Times Competition, which was launched in June, offers shoppers the chance to win the money simply by getting their photograph taken by a giant ‘X’ in store. Each customer holds up a designated number, with each number representing the days counting down to the grand unveiling of the new Country Market building due to open in March 2014. Every month one lucky customer will be picked at random to win the £500 cash!

Jillian, said: “I cannot believe I have won, I just entered as I thought it would be a bit of fun- this is such an amazing surprise! I have never won anything before and this money will certainly go down well with the family. It was great seeing the picture on the website as well.”
