Country Market in Kingsley, Bordon, is once again inviting local groups and organisations to nominate themselves for the next X-citing Projects campaign.

The campaign which launched earlier this year, has given away £1,000 to two local groups so far and now Country Market is on the lookout for the next lucky winner of the £1,000 fund.

The family run business is looking to help local groups, charities and schools that are in need of some additional support. Perhaps the scout hut needs a new roof, a school needs some new sports equipment or a local care home would like to re-vamp their garden. Whatever the cause, we would like to hear all about it.

Every other month, three finalists will be selected and their details will be printed in the paper giving you the chance to vote for the organisation you feel deserves the donation the most.

Home-Start WeyWater were awarded £1,000 last month and will be using the money they won to purchase a new computer, telephones and pay for printing which will allow them to continue offering the support to the increasing numbers of local families that need it.

Senior Co-ordinator of Home-Start WeyWater, Angela Small, wanted to thank everyone who voted for them: "We are thrilled and still can’t quite believe we have won! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us. We know at times like these there are a lot of people needing a helping hand and we cannot thank Country Market enough for giving us this money. We really are over the moon.”

Dean Marshall, Partner of Country Market, commented: “We have been so impressed with the response we’ve received since launching the X-citing Projects. We are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to local groups that are in need of a little helping hand. I look forward to receiving the next batch of nominations and a big congratulations once again to Home-Start WeyWater”

Charities, projects, schools and groups can nominate themselves by writing to Country Market X-citing Projects Campaign, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9HP or by emailing [email protected]

All we need to know is how £1,000 can help!

The deadline for nominations is 22nd September 2013
