Cooking Instructions

Recommended cooking instructions for our range of pre-prepared frozen pastries.

 

All Butter Croissant

Light and flaky sweet pastry. Made in France to a traditional recipe.  Leave out to prove over night, they will double in size and be a real winner for breakfast!

Prove overnight on a baking tray at room temperature, then egg-wash and bake at 190ºC /  170ºC Fan /375ºF/Gas Mark 5 for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Water, Butter (Milk) 22%, Sugar, Yeast, Wheat Gluten, Salt, Egg, Flour Treatment Agent: Ascorbic Acid (E300), Enzymes, Cream Powder (Milk), Deactivated Spelt Leaven, Malted Barley Flour, Barley Malt. This product may contain nuts, sesame and other cereals.

 

Almond Croissant

Light and flaky pastry with a soft, sweet almond centre, topped with a sprinkling of flaked almonds

Spread out on a baking tray and leave to thaw for 30 mins at room temperature. Bake at 170ºC Fan/375ºF/Gas Mark 5 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Water, Butter (Milk) (14%), Sugar, Almonds (6%), Yeast, Soybeans, White Beans, Iodized Salt (Salt, Potassium Iodate), Wheat Gluten, Vegetable Oils (Rapeseed), Apricot Kernels, Skimmed Milk, Salt, Dextrose, Wheat Starch, Milk Proteins, Vegetable Proteins, Flour Treatment Agent (E300), Modified Starch (E1412), Natural Flavouring, Enzymes.

 

Cinnamon Swirl

Sweet and light flaky pastry swirled with delicious cinnamon.

Cook from frozen on a baking tray at 190°C Fan/400°F/Gas Mark 6 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oils (Palm (100% RSPO-Certified Sustainable Palm from Segregated (SG) Supply Chain), Rapeseed), Water, Sugar, Egg, Yeast, Iodized Salt (Salt, Potassium Iodate), Cinnamon (0,6%), Whey Powder (Milk), Salt, Glucose Syrup, Vegetable Fats (Coconut), Whole Milk Powder, Milk Proteins, Candy Syrup, Vitamin A, Colour (E150c, E160a(iii)), Antioxidant (E223), Acidity Regulator (E330), Flour Treatment Agent (E300), Emulsifier (E450, E471), Thickener (E401, E406), Modified Starch (E1414), Natural Flavouring, Flavouring, Enzymes, Stabilizer (E516, E953)

 

Chocolate Twist

A delicious twist of light and fluffy pastry, filled with custard and chocolate drops.

Cook from frozen. Bake at 170ºC Fan /375ºF/Gas Mark 5 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients: Water, Wheat Flour, Chocolate (Sugar, Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifier (E322 Soy)) (11%), Butter (Milk) (11%), Sugar, Yeast, Whey Powder (Milk), Wheat Gluten, Iodized Salt (Salt, Potassium Iodate), Skimmed Milk, Vegetable Oils (Rapeseed), Vegetable Fats (Coconut), Whole Milk Powder, Milk Proteins, Dextrose, Vegetable Proteins, Salt, Colour (E160a(iii)), Flour Treatment Agent (E300), Emulsifier (E450, E471), Thickener (E401), Modified Starch (E1414), Stabilizer (E516), Natural Flavouring, Flavouring, Enzymes.

 

Pain au Chocolat

Made in France with a light and flaky pastry and filled with a delicious dark chocolate centre. The perfect treat for breakfast or coffee o’clock!

Prove overnight on a baking tray at room temperature, then egg-wash and bake at 190ºC/170º Fan /375ºF/Gas Mark 5 for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Water, Butter (Milk) 19.5%, Chocolate 10% (Sugar, Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifier: E442), Sugar, Yeast, Wheat Gluten, Salt, Egg, Flour Treatment Agent: Ascorbic Acid (E300), Enzymes, Cream Powder (Milk), Deactivated Spelt Leaven, Malted Barley Flour, Barley Malt. This product may contain nuts, sesame and other cereals.

 

Pain au Raisins

A sweet and juicy swirl of flaky pastry and raisins. Expertly made in France.  A delicious treat any time of day!

Spread out on a baking tray and leave to prove for 2 hours at room temperature. Egg-wash and bake at 170ºC Fan/375ºF/Gas Mark 5 for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Semi-Skimmed Milk, Water, Sultanas 13% (Sultanas, Non-Hydrogenated Cotton Oil), Butter (Milk), 12% Sugar, Modified Corn Starch, Yeast, Egg White, Whole Eggs, Wheat Gluten, Salt, Vegetable Fibre, Colour E160a, Vanilla Flavour, Flour Treatment Agent: Ascorbic Acid (E300), Enzymes, Cream Powder (Milk), Deactivated Spelt Leaven, Malted Barley Flour, Barley Malt. This product may contain Nuts, Sesame and other Cereals

 

Ham & Cheese Croissant

Butter enriched pastry filled with tasty, melty cheese and sliced ham. Just what you need for a delicious and easy weekend lunch.

Place on baking tray and leave to thaw for 30 mins at room temperature. Bake at 170ºC Fan/375ºF/Gas Mark 5 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Water, Butter (Milk) (15%), Ham (Pork Meat (90%), Water, Salt, Acidity Regulator (E331), Stabilizer(E451), Smoke Flavouring, Antioxidant (E316), Preservative (E250)) (9%), Cheese (Gouda) (Milk) (5%), Yeast, Sugar, Wheat Gluten, Iodized Salt (Salt, Potassium Iodate), Vegetable Oils (Palm 100% RSPO-certified sustainable, Rapeseed, Sunflower), Potato Starch, Skimmed Milk, Maltodextrin, Skimmed Milk Powder, Whole Egg Powder, Cheese Powder (Milk), Wheat  Starch, Salt, Vegetable Fibres, Glucose Syrup, Vegetable Proteins, Dextrose, Milk Proteins, Lemon Juice Concentrate, Spices, Flour Treatment Agent (E300), Modified Starch (E1414), Natural Flavouring (contains Milk), Enzymes.

 

Melty Cheese & Bacon Bites

Irresistible combination of bacon and melted cheddar cheese, wrapped up together in a puff pastry parcel.  A great freezer friend for last minute lunches and Highly Commended at the Great British Food Awards

Cook from frozen on a baking tray at 180ºC Fan/400°F/Gas Mark 6 for 25-30 minutes until golden brown top and bottom. Air fry not recommended.

Ingredients: Bacon (32%) (Pork, Water, Salt, Preservatives [Sodium Nitrite, Potassium Nitrate], Antioxidant [Sodium Ascorbate]), Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Cheese (14%) (Milk), Water, Vegetable Margarine (Vegetable Oils and Fats [Palm], Water, Salt, Lemon Juice), White Shortening (Vegetable Oils and Fats [Palm, Rapeseed], Water, Salt, Lemon Juice), Glaze (Water, Milk Protein, Dextrose, Rapeseed Oil), Salt.

 

Perfect Yorkshire Pudding

Golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and ready in just five minutes.  Why wait ’til Sunday for perfect five minute Yorkshire puds!

Cook from frozen on a baking tray at 180ºC Fan/400°F/Gas Mark 6 for 5 minutes.

Ingredients: Fortified Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Whole Egg, Egg White, Water, Rapeseed Oil, Skimmed Milk Powder, Salt.
